Demo Reel

This Is a Full Sail University prep project for educational purposes only. As a volunteer sound designer, I was able to create some unique sounds and had the pleasure of adding my vocals to the dialogue inside the demo reel. The project mixing session took place in ProTools. Here I was able to edit and manipulate the sounds needed for the demo reel. I work with automation such as Panning, Volume, Reverb, and Delay. This project required many sounds, so keeping up with all the tracks we’re close to impossible. I was able to have a less cluttered session by naming and grouping my tracks relevant to the asset list given. Many auxiliary effects were needed also to add definition to certain sounds such as stingers in the background. These effects made it possible for listeners to feel like they were inside the game’s dimension. In the demo reel, you can see CPU players with magical powers. These sounds were layered and EQ’d with a Low pass filter applied giving listeners the most realistic experience. I enjoyed my time designing and engineering for this project, thanks for viewing.
